This designation from the Montana Department of Health and Human Services ensures that Livingston Memorial Hospital provides a specialized program in trauma care with appropriately trained personnel, equipment, and other facility resources that are specifically organized to provide optimal trauma care.

The Emergency Department sees a variety of patients, including a large number of people with heart problems, motor vehicle accident-related injuries and people with coughs, colds and cuts.
