Anthony Russo, MD grew up in several places across the country. He attended UCLA where he received his BS degree in behavioral neuroscience. He then attended George Washington University for medical school, followed by an orthopedic surgery residency at The University of North Carolina. Dr. Russo then entered the Navy on active duty, serving for 4 years, 3 overseas, including a tour in Iraq. Once he completed his Naval service he received fellowship training in spine surgery in the combined orthopaedic/neurosurgical program at the University of Washington/Harborview medical center. Dr. Russo then moved to Butte, Montana, joining Montana Orthopedics, where he has provided spine care to Montana and the Rocky Mountain region for the last 15 years. Dr. Russo is moving his practice to the Billings Clinic, Bozeman campus. Outside the office he spends time with his wife, Amy, and his 3 children, Catherine, Isabel, and Philip. They enjoy skiing, fishing, and boating together.
Dr. Russo is providing innovative care for a large variety of spine ailments, including robotic surgery.
