Provider Bio
Ellyn Dearing, CCC-SLP, (Speech Language Pathologist) attended Illinois State University in Normal,
Illinois where she earned both her undergraduate degree and a Master’s
in Communication Science and Disorders. She has worked in a variety of
settings serving both the pediatric and adult populations. Ellyn strongly
believes that communication is intrinsic to our humanity as social beings
and that all people—regardless of age, status, ability or communicative
capacity—have the right to receive and convey messages, to hold
opinions, and express themselves. Ellyn’s therapeutic approach focuses
on building relationships and creating patient-centered plans of care
that concentrate on function, independence and quality of life. Outside
of work, Ellyn enjoys reading, flyfishing, and exploring Montana with
her family.
