Provider Bio
Megan Hatch, MD, is a physician who is board-certified in Family Medicine with fellowship
training in rural family medicine and obstetrics. She received her medical
degree from Oregon Health & Science University, then completed her
residency at Tacoma Family Medicine.
Megan’s desire to pursue a career in medicine began in rural Uganda,
where she spent two years as a Peace Corps volunteer and saw the value
that medical care brings to the individual and the entire community. Her
goal as a physician is to empower you to take charge of your health because,
she says,"you know more about your body and health than anyone else.
I’m here to be a source of support and encouragement."
For Megan, becoming a parent has been a wonderful—and incredibly
humbling—experience. She loves working with families during and
after pregnancy and practices family medicine to help other parents navigate
the joys and challenges of raising children.
Outside of work, Megan loves spending time with her husband, three girls
and dog. Together, they enjoy getting outside, trying new foods and traveling.
