On January 17, current Livingston HealthCare (LHC) Chief Executive Officer Bren Lowe announced to hospital employees that Deb Anczak will assume the position of interim CEO of Livingston HealthCare, effective March 2, 2018.
Anczak has served as Pharmacy Manager at Livingston HealthCare since 2011, having been a pharmacist for 30 years. She has been the Director of Performance Improvement at LHC for the past four years. Prior to her time in Livingston, Anczak was Director of Pharmacy at Billings Clinic. She has also served in pharmacy and administrative roles at healthcare institutions in Wisconsin and Idaho.
“I am honored to step into the role of interim CEO at Livingston HealthCare,” says Anczak. “I look forward to continuing to build upon the momentum the organization has gained since moving into the new medical center. Providing outstanding, patient-centered care for our community will remain at the center of all we do.”
Anczak received her Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s degree in health services administration from University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois.
“As part of the leadership team at Livingston HealthCare, Deb has been instrumental in our excellence in patient care and quality control, which rank above national standards,” says Michelle Becker, chair of the LHC board of directors. “Deb has proven herself to be a capable, valued leader who is held in high esteem by the LHC team.”
Lowe announced his departure from Livingston HealthCare on January 12. He has accepted a CEO position at Star Valley Medical Center in Afton, Wyoming.
