Livingston HealthCare hires a new chief medical officer this month.
LIVINGSTON, MONT.—Livingston HealthCare has hired Robert Redwood, MD, MPH, FACEP, as Chief Medical Officer, effective July 1, 2022. In his role, Dr. Redwood oversees all clinical care, with a focus on patient safety, clinical quality and physician engagement. Reporting to Deb Anczak, CEO of Livingston HealthCare, Dr. Redwood and the senior leadership team will work together to implement programs and processes to achieve high standards of quality and patient safety across the organization.
“Dr. Redwood brings an extensive background in emergency medicine with research interests that include sepsis and antimicrobial stewardship. He is board certified in emergency medicine and preventive medicine,” said Deb Anczak, CEO. “He is a well-respected physician with strong leadership experience. Dr. Redwood will be working closely with our providers and administration to further the Livingston HealthCare mission of patient-centered care—with a special focus in provider engagement in quality improvement.”
Dr. Redwood earned his medical degree at Rush Medical College. After completing his emergency medicine residency with honors at University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI, Dr. Redwood continued his education by completing a preventive medicine residency, also at University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI. During both residencies, Dr. Redwood traveled to other training sites locally and as far as Ethiopia and Ghana. Dr. Redwood is very active in leadership and advocacy organizations, including the American College of Emergency Physicians. He has published several articles on emergency and preventative medicine.
